We generally did not plant trees in the houses, but trees are given great importance in designing the landscape inside parks, roads, big institutions, and home garden space. Among these, there is special importance of those trees on which very beautiful flowers come, apart from these, there are many trees which keep on growing in the forest, etc.
Today we will know about 10 such trees on which very beautiful flowers come, you must have seen some even if you do not know their name.
1. Amaltas (Cassia fistula)
In the cities or on the routes of an old college, you must have often seen trees with yellow flowers. The clusters of flowers look like bunches of grapes, they are called amaltas.
Apart from this, it is also known by the name Banar Cucumber, Rajvriksha, etc., but mostly it is called by the name of Amaltas. In the month of April-May, this tree is filled with clusters of yellow flowers.
2. Jarul (Lagerstroemia speciosa)
It is also called Pride of India, in Hindi it is called by names like Jarul, Azhar, etc. In the months of April-May and July-August, flowers of purplish color appear at the end of all the branches and the whole tree looks like a purple-colored umbrella from afar. Its plant can also be grown well in a pot.
3. Kachnar (Bauhinia variegated)
In many places, it is also called Orchid Tree or Mountain ebony.
The bud of Kachnar is also used in food, its pickle is also made. Its aromatic and purple, pink white color flowers attract everyone’s mind.
4. Semal (ombax ceiba)
It is also called a silk cotton tree, whose height can be more than 15-20 meters. In Hindi it is called Semal, you will often see it in the old cantonment areas, along the railway line.
Effective medicine is also made for treatment from many parts of this tree.
In winter, red flowers are seen in it, but some trees also come with yellow, orange, light red flowers.
Its bud is of golf ball-winning shape, from which a delicious vegetable is also made. When their flowers come, not a single leaf is visible on the tree, after the flowers fall new leaves start coming.
5. Palash (Butea monosperma)
They have been found for thousands of years in the doab areas of the Ganges and Yamuna, they are now rarely seen after being gradually cut to prepare the land for cultivation.
In the summer after Holi, its red-orange flowers look like fire in the forest, hence it is also called the flame of the forest.
Saffron color is made from its flower which is used as a dye. Its beauty and importance have also been told in Jayadeva’s Gita-Govind.
6. Gulmohar (Dolenix regia)
You can see Gulmohar cities and villages everywhere on the roadside and what to say when orange-red flowers bloom in it.
I think our city planners have not utilized the beauty of this tree properly, if a long line of Gulmohar is put on the side of some roads, then what will be the view at the time of blooming in summer !!
7. Bottlebrush (Eagle Callistemon citrus)
Often you will see this tree on the side of parks etc., whose height is around 8-10, and in summer red-colored flowers hang, it looks like a brush cleaning the bottle, hence it is also called bottle-brush.
You can also plant it in your garden as well as place it on the terrace in a big pot.
8. Parijat (Harsingar Nyctanthes arbor-tristis)
Harsingar means that by which Hari is adorned, from this you can understand its importance. Their height is usually up to 10-12 feet and it blooms at night and is scattered in the ground in the morning, which gives fragrance to the surrounding environment. Let’s keep

9. Galgal (Ganeri Cochlospermum religiosum)
Found in the Indian subcontinent, this tree, which bears yellow flowers, is considered very sacred, hence its botanical name is associated with religion.
By the way, you can see this tree only in the wild or rural areas, it is not seen soon in the cities. It is also called silk cotton tree and buttercup tree because of its flower shape and form.
10. Paribhadra (Erythrina indica)
Also called Tiger’s claw or Indian coral tree, it is extensively planted as an ornamental tree in many countries of East Asia.
Its flowers, seeds, deceit, etc. have been used in many Ayurvedic medicines. In Sri Lanka, its red flower is considered a symbol of the new year there.
